I graduate in May, after which I am returning home to Seattle for a gap year before continuing my studies for a career in language education and interpretation. I love being around kids of all ages, and I have several year’s experience as a babysitter for newborns up through middle-schoolers, as well as experience as a teacher and camp counselor in two different schools. I’ve been praised for my kind but firm attitude with the children I’ve worked with, and I can handle everything from dirty diapers and tantrums to arts-and-crafts and kitchen science experiments. I know how to cook, clean, and drive, and I have conversational proficiency in Japanese and Spanish, as well some rudimentary Chinese. Read more I love music, astronomy, and especially the outdoors.
