I’ve worked with children for the past nine years in a variety of capacities. I began working in summer theatre camps while I was in high school and throughout college. I studied education, originally thinking I wanted to become a teacher, then changing that path to now thinking I want to be a school counselor. I’ve now worked at four different schools in Seattle, both middle and elementary. When I graduated, I spent a year doing AmeriCorps through Seattle University at Washington Middle School, running an after school program providing academic support. I now work at Kimball Elementary school as a Reset Counselor, supporting students when they’re escalated to help hem calm down and providing behavior interventions. I’ve also been working for the babysitting company, Poppy, for a year until they recently closed. I am first aid and CPR certified.
