Hello there! My name is Maria and I recently moved here from Seattle. During the weekends I work at a mental health facility for children and adults. I am seeking something to do during the week to keep me occupied. Ideally 30-35hrs. I was a nanny back in Seattle BEFORE moving here while going to school. I worked with many elite families within amazon, Microsoft and famous names I have promised I can't expose due to contract reasons. I miss being a nanny and hope to find my perfect family soon! I understand what it takes to trust a complete stranger! I am also a mom myself and know the fear of leaving your loved one with a complete stranger trusting background checks and references as your cushion. To the person above ^ ^ who left her last rating of Maria Pickett. I'd have to stay I STRONGLY disagree! Maria Pickett is and was an AMAZING sitter for our family. I do understand though that sometimes plans fall through or people don't show up and it can be frustrating. However Maria DID SHOW UP for our family & was ALWAYS EXCELLENT! she will go above and beyond for ANY family. She cooks great! cleans! and truly values children. We paid Maria a rate of 18hrly for 45 hrs a week. We had her for 2 months. We need a temp nanny/babysitter. I'D HIGHLY reccomend Maria to ANY family. I'd be glad to share my experience with any family who may be interested in having her for nanny or babysitting work. Warmly, Nancy

Maria was supposed to be at our house yesterday evening but did not show up. She didn't call or email an explanation before or after our appointment. I would not call her reliable nor would I recommend her as a babysitter/nanny.

Maria was a life-saver for us! After posting a last minute sitter request, Maria promptly followed up and offered to save the day. She was great at quickly adapting to meeting our little one for the first time, and made us all feel very comfortable with our last minute plan changes. Thanks again, Maria!

First I'd like to tell everyone she is AMAZING! She lives in the Kent area and WOW! I was first a little sketchy about having her. After I interviewd her she BLEW OUR COMPANY AWAY! she is VERY SMART, friendly, bubbly, ALWAYS ON TIME to her jobs. She NEVER ONCE declined WORK! Maria made a commitment to us and has KEPT IT when we needed her. She drove from kent to belleuve EACH DAY & others to Kirkland. SHE ALWAYS arrived on time. I am VERY impressed with this young lady & her passionate/love for children. I would HIGHLY reccomend her to a family. She is WORTH it!! We paid her 18 hourly + Gas. (which we think is far) We did an additonal 30 a week to her paycheck for her gas. I'd like to see another family take her in and hopefully she'll get a great family & a well earned pay rate & gas (if they can) ATLEAST a GREAT pay! Maria is a ROCKSTAR NANNY! -
