I have been baby-sitting since the age of 12 and have over 10 years of babysitting and childcare experiences in various settings through volunteering, school and employment. For a year and a half I worked at a daycare center, which included playing, providing food, and nap time for children, ages infant to preschool. I spent one summer I as a camp counselor for kids ages 7-15 were I also taught arts and crafts. After that I worked at a fitness center watching children of all ages while their parents used the facilities. I was a full time nanny for my twin nephews from birth to 2 1/2 years old and am more than comfortable with infant care. I also worked as an aide with ECFE and most recently was a full time nanny to my niece for 2 years. Though I am responsible and caring, I'm a big kid at Read more heart and love playing just as much as the children! It is exciting to see the child's imagination and personality grow.
