Hello Families in need of childcare! I am currently working as an adjunct faculty at a community college and I’m looking for occasional babysitting. I am looking for families that need a weekend and week night sitter. Babysitting and nannying have been my “side hustle” for over a decade now. My childcare approaches are inspired by my teaching pedagogies which are learner centered, trauma informed, and experiential. When that translates to childcare, I use non-violent communication methods, follow the child’s lead to build trust and aim to give children a sense of independence by always providing choices. I am a working professional and behave as such. I respect the home and time of parents and take babysitting as seriously as my faculty position.
