I am currently a rising senior at the Rhode Island School of Design, studying Textile Design. I am working as an apparel design intern this summer in downtown Seattle, while living near the University of Washington. Creativity is an enormous passion of mine, and I love to involve these sorts of projects with the children I care for. I have been known to scheme up all sorts of special activities: from treasure hunts all the way to felt puppet marionette making of their favorite storybook characters. For the past seven years I have been actively involved with providing care for kids of all age ranges. I have had experience with kids in a multitude of different positions: babysitter, coach, art instructor, lifeguard and swim instructor (I am certified through the Red Cross with first aid, CPR and AED.) I know how to create an enjoyable atmosphere for kids to have Read more fun, but I also know how to be in control of a situation.
