My name is Caitlin, I grew up Boise, ID and am now attending Nursing school in Seattle. I also have a little sister who is in the picture on the right. I also am a Certified Nurses Aide- I want to someday be a Registed Nurse, preferably in Pediatrics. I love music and the arts; aside from babysitting I am also a piano teacher. I believe that you are a kid for such a short time, and youth should be enjoyed! I also love the outdoors; growing up in Idaho, I have been exposed to a lot! I think it's important for kids to be active. In highschool, I served on the Mayor's Council for Youth and I assisted with a project that encouraged kids to become more active, and also create a "walking club" for kids to safely walk/bike home from school. Caitlin babysat our seven year old daughter this weekend and send me a text a few hours after we had left stating they were locked out of our apartment. I quickly headed home to let them in and found my daughter who as I said is only seven in our new neighbors apartment (this person is a total stranger to our family!) I asked what had happened and was told that Caitlin wanted to get lunch and decided to leave our kiddo alone while running to the store, upon getting back she had my kid walk to the front door alone (!) and let her in and then realized they were locked out of our apartment. We don't care at all about getting locked out-that happens all the time and is totally understandable. Its the lack of judgement that scared and upset up, a child should never, EVER, be left alone by an adult who is being paid to babysit them. We believe Caitlin is a sweet girl who had a lapse in judgement. I won't hire her again but I wish her the best.

Caitlin was great with the kids and really flexible when our evening ran long. I felt comfortable having her in my home and will definitely ask her to sit for us again.
