Hello, my name is Jaselyn Lee and I am 23 years old, attending the Univeristy of Washington. I have a lot of prior experience working with children of all ages- from infants to high schoolers. I worked as an after school teacher for 3 years, nannies since 2009, occasional babysitting for weekends and nights and also work as a part time Montessori teacher in Shoreline at the moment. My availability is very flexible, so when in need of a babysitter for a day or two or three, please let me know :) I would love to spend some extra time with other children!

After being in touch with Jaselyn and doing a phone interview everything seemed great: she sounded very enthusiastic and professional, and most important she seemed interested in the job. During the phone interview I requested references and it sounded like she was going to work on those fairly quickly. A week went by and I didn't hear back, so I sent a friendly reminder as I figured she probably forgot or needed more time. It's been almost two months so I definitely fave her time, and unfortunately I haven't heard back. I was left with no choice other than to move forward with another nanny. Here's a tip for this type of jobs and a general rule in life: if for whatever reason you don't seem interested in something, or simply can't commit, or fonts have references in this case, that's totally OK. Just have the courtesy to let people know and they'll understand.
