A bit about me… I migrated to the US with my family at the age of 11 from our native home of Vietnam, and among the journey I’ve come to realize many things; priority being the value of family and the dynamic therein. I have 7 siblings which during youth presented many challenges but not without sound resolve. The majority of our time was spent working as a team in most endeavors, such as: chores, school work & playing. Upon my high school graduation I enrolled in the service and have since been traveling the world with the Navy, however, I’ve longed most for the times with my family. Over the years during my time stationed and visits home to San Diego, California where my family currently resides I’ve babysat my many nieces and nephews. They all vary in age and personality, but the common bond I try to enhance Read more in them is the strength of working together and getting along. I’ve also volunteered in part with a few charitable programs that afforded me the opportunity to work closely with other children. I think my greatest strength and benefit when caring for kids lies in my patience and ability to draw directly from past experiences with my siblings as well as my nieces and nephews.
