I am a recent social work graduate student new to the Tacoma area. I have been babysitting for 12 years and nannied for 10 years. I have watched one family since their first child was born 10 years ago and another family for the past 4 years until moving to Tacoma. My belief is that TV time should be limited and play time, whether outside or through art projects or creative games, always take priority. I like to work collaboratively with parents to ensure that rules and norms stay the same while babysitting so that children can have continuous rules and care.
