As long as I can remember I have always been around children. I did the normal babysitting stuff when I was a teenager but I didn't really get serious about it it until I went off to college. I went to college at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, OR where I got a degree in Theatre. When I was 18, on summer vacation, I was a nanny for my sister's four children (three year-old triplets and a four year-old) from 6 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. I would make most of the meals myself and clean house (when there was a spare moment). 3 years ago I lived with my cousin and her 1 and 1/2 year-old son and I would watch him for about 4 hours a day. I helped him get comfortable with napping without his mommy and gave his mom some much needed breaks. My mother has recently developed some debilitating health issues and I help take care of the house and the cooking. I am not afraid of getting my hands dirty! Also, another reason I moved home was to be closer to my 6 year-old nephew whom I adore and our relationship continues to grow.
