What makes a great babysitter is my orientation with family and past experience I have had with children. I am experienced in first aid and am a quick thinker when it comes to giving medical aid. I like to use natural remedies to cure minor discomforts, such as ginger for stomach aches and nausea, I simply believe them to be safe and better for the body. I of course believe In the use of medicine and antibiotics, etc. Some experience I have had is my very own cousins that are 6 and 8 years old. Emma and Sarah are there names. I love them dearly and are so excited whenever they hear I may be coming by. They love doing all kinds of activities ranging from running around playing with random toys to building ant farms and learning about how bugs and other things are important to us. A favorite past experience of mine is I had volunteered at a teen mom church dance. Teen moms would leave there young toddlers and children in care of a couple babysitters while the mother and father went to enjoy themselves with dancing and other fun activities. Most of the toddlers could not be closer to me as I was very entertaining and comforting to them as they saw there mothers leave there side. patience and comfort for children are important to me when caring for one. Other past experience would be a young boy named Tony at the age of 7 would be dropped off at my home to be babysat each weekend for about 6 hours or so. Tony did not mind being dropped because he always had fun when he would come over as I was always at attention to whatever activities he would be doing to make sure he was safe but could properly explore.
