I'm senior at Columbia river high school. I grew up with 4 siblings 3 younger than me, being the second oldest I was able to help raise them. I have lived in Washington, Vancouver for 2 years now. I moved her with my family. I'm originally from utah. I've also helped my aunt's raise their children. I have had babysat for a few close family friends. I'm usually available anytime in the evenings over the weekdays and on weekends I'm available at anytime. I love being around kids they bring lots of joy. I have experience with kids from 8 months old to about 13 years old. I don't own a vehicle but I do get around by public transportation. I'm able to cook food as well and clean up messes. I'm also very good at putting kids to sleep. I have a 9 year old sister who I often Read more have to put to sleep at night. I won't do anything that goes against your house policies or rules. I won't do anything that you're not okay with as a parent because they are not my kids. In the past when I have babysat I had taken kids on walks to the park. But living in a bigger town parks are hard to come across that are close by. I do enjoy playing outside with the children. In my past caring for younger children that around toddlers I have read them bedtime stories. I do watch my language and my actions around kids. I really enjoy paying attention to children and I like to have fun. These are your children and If you set the rules, guidelines I will follow them to your standards. In the past I've always communicated with the parent(s) asking for permission to take them places, if it's okay or if they are allowed certain food things like that. When caring for children I make them my priority. I usually don't eat the food given at the houses just because I'm not comfortable with it, unless the parent (s) are home and allow it but other then that I won't eat the food cause it's for the children. In the past I've always brought my own food and I won't bring food over that can cause an allergic reaction to the kids. Also, in the past I've babysat till about 1-2am. I'm okay with your payment plans and i wont push for anything more. I plan on having my own family someday and helping other people with their kids gives me ideas on what it's like to have kids be apart of your life. I won't throw parties, or being uninvited guests over, because your kids need the full attention of the person caring for them.
