I'm the oldest of three girls in my family. My mom said I always tried to mother my younger sisters, sometimes that worked for me. When I got old enough I learned about babysitting. I loved the idea of being a role model for younger children and taking care of them. I started babysitting when I was in 5th grade and I soon found out that I was very good at it and I really enjoyed it. As I got older I did more babysitting and also started to volunteer with Girl Scouts and the Relief Nursery, a non-profit organization that works with abused and neglected children. I eventually started working as a nanny at age 19 years old, in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've now been working as a professional nanny for the past 20 years. I continue to babysit here and there occasionally, as much as I have Read more time for when working as a full time nanny. I just really love what I do and I believe it shows.
