I have always had a love for kids from a young age. I remember being 6 and taking every chance I could to hold my newborn cousin! That's where most of my childcare experience comes from. My aunts, uncles, and cousins are significantly older than I am. I happen to be the only one of my age group in the family. So I was at the perfect age to start watching their kids once they began having them. I started when I was 12 years old. I've babysat my cousins at 9 months, 2-5 years, and at elementary school ages. I continued this until I moved away for college. That experience led to me being comfortable taking on other babysitting jobs here and there for members of the community I've met.
