Meet Anyssa

Hi! My name is Anyssa and I am 18 years old. Since first grade I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher. I took steps toward that dream by going to Cardinal Stritch University majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Special Education. After a year at Stritch, I decided to take some time off to make some money so I can pay for my schooling. During my time at Stritch I learned a lot of important things about teaching and working with children. I also was able to work in a classroom with third graders, and it was an amazing experience! Since then, I worked at Culvers and Mary Linsmeier Educare. It was at the daycare that I started an early childhood care course. Unfortunately, management at the daycare was not up to par and I ended up leaving, which was better for me. I love working with kids Read more and would love to continue doing so. Due to being very busy in high school (graduated in 2015), I was not able to take the class to get my Driver's License, so I waited until I was 18. I have had my temps for 6 months and will be taking the road test soon. As soon as I have enough money, I will have my own car. I am available to work Monday through Friday, and if you need weekends covered I would be willing to sit and talk with you about possibilities for that.
