Hello there, I went to school at cvtc and have my associates in early childhood education. I have been a teacher in a day care for 4 years now. I have a lot of experience with infants from 6 weeks all the way through age 4. Being a day care teacher I have a lot of experience with observing children's behavior and making lesson plans to help develop the children to help reach their milestones According to their age and abilities. With child care in my background I would love to be a nanny in a home that allows lesson plans from day to day. I believe in free play along with some structured play (lesson plans) to help the children develop their skills such as fine motor, social emotional, large motor etc. Also being in a classroom for so long I am able to multitask with multiple children -- Read more in my room there are 8 one year Olds :) -- I also know the milestones for each age group and how to develop lesson plans to help them improve. I absolutely love my job and working with the children In my classroom, i love to watch the children learn and decelop through play. And although I love it so much I would much rather love working with one family as compared to working with 8 different families in my room. I currently am active on the registry. I am certified in first aid, and cpr and aed training. I also am a certified lifeguard. I love being outdoors and learning through play is most important to me.
