To begin with, I have worked with children for six years. I started off at the Fondy Sports Park helping them with the attractions. Then when I went off to college I spent four years working at the YMCA where I did everything from teach the kids how to play sports to watching them before and after school. Eventually I had my own site where I would stay for a full year and get to the know the children on a deeper level. I would help them with homework and help them get through everyday problems like how to talk to a bully. I really enjoy working with children and they really look up to me when I am around them. I am trained in CPR and first aid by the Red Cross and attended a multitude of childcare training seminars when I was at the YMCA. If I can be the one that keeps them off the street or off of drugs I feel like I have made a difference. I am about setting a good example for the children because now-a-days they aren't really getting good influences at school or from television so they need someone in their life to be a consistent role model. Since I am an active guy I love going outside and to parks to hang out with the children. I like doing active things and kids really love it too.
