I have been around children my entire life as my mom ran an in-home daycare as I was growing up. I began babysitting myself at age 14. I love playing with kids, relating to them, watching them learn and watching them grow. I have experience with virtually all ages from infancy to 13 years old. In high school I gained experience as an after-school nanny as I watched two elementary school kids after school. I would be there when they got off the bus to help them with homework, start dinner, and play with them until their parents got home. I was a before-school and after school nanny throughout my college years and in 2016 I graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Spanish and Global Studies. I currently work as a pre-K teacher at a Spanish Immersion Academy here in the Twin Cities.

We posted a request for a specific date for a family friend's wedding and were very impressed by Sheena's application and our phone conversation. Sadly she did not come as agreed and we missed the wedding ceremony for a close family friend. Repeated calls and texts were not returned. Very, very disappointing.

Sheena is one of the most responsible, kindest and wonderful people we've ever met. She has a gift with children; earning their respect and understanding their needs. Sheena was highly engaged with my kids - getting them outside and running around and playing sports with them. She would play board games and cards while always with a smile and having fun with them. Sheena became like part of the family and still stays in contact with the kids. Our schedules don't align anymore and my kids miss her dearly.
