My name is Abby, I am 24 years old, I was born and raised in La Crosse Wisconsin, and I am also a proud mother of a five year old boy! I had an amazing, loving upbringing by two dedicated parent's who helped shape who I am today. Growing up, I was surrounded by a large family with several children always around to help care for, which I took a liking to very young. As a little girl I remember counting down the days with such anticipation until I reached the age of 11, so I could begin "officially" babysitting. When my 11th birthday finally arrived, I took my first CPR class and my passion continued to grow from there! Throughout my life I have cared for several families and their little ones building strong trustworthy relationships I value greatly. After I had my son, babysitting provided me with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom for a few years before returning to work. I treasured those first few years greatly, because they really do grow up too fast. I also valued that opportunity because I know for several women it is not always an option, therefore, I was honored to be their next best solution. I have extensive care with infants, babies, toddlers, as well as school aged children. I am also able to respond quickly and creatively to unusual or difficult situations. I am an excellent multitasker, very adaptable and patient. Trust is evidently a big component when it comes to this job field, and to me I hold myself to high standards. I want parents to feel confident that their children truly are in excellent, safe and loving care. I am a very crafty person, and enjoy engaging children in several different activities for fun, but also to get to know them better. I love how a child's face lights up as they learn something new and are eager to learn more. I enjoy cooking and have plenty of experience especially when it comes to picky eaters. I look forward to building genuine relationships with families!
