I currently work for Fox Valley Autism Treatment Program. I do in home care and work one on one with children who have autism. We work on communication, social skills, and everyday living skills. Ithe is a rewarding job seeing the progress the children have made and it has made me enjoy working with children so much more. I have had training in how to react during melt downs and how to assist the children in meeting their goals. I have worked with children on all different areas of the spectrum. I have been with the program for close to two years. I am looking for a part time babysitting job for evenings and some weekends for things such as a date night or appointments.
