Hello! My name is Lauren Sklba, and I am a current sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Journalism and Mass Communication. I spend my summers in Colorado as a camp counselor, having cabins of 9-12 campers aged 7-17 per week that I get to watch out for, take care of, and have fun with. I love drawing and painting, and all things related to crafts really. I grew up playing a large variety of sports, mostly focusing on soccer, volleyball, and tennis in high school. Today, I am still active and love running along Lake Monona and Lake Mendota. That being said, I love babysitting because of the activeness of the job! Getting to spend time with kids and develop relationships with them is something that I enjoy and thrive off of. I am willing to play, read, and learn alongside them.
