Besides raising my own three children, I've been caring for my grandkids for over 13 years and also started watching a little boy 2 years ago - he'll be 3 in Fall & we treat him like one of the family. As my youngest grandchild is heading to Kindergarten, my husband & I are happy to take on caring for additional kids before our grandkids come over after school. Plus, we'd love to have some friends for the sweet 3 yr old boy to play with! Our days are filled with reading, bubbles, play-doh, fort making, flying kites... lots of fun & learning! The kids like to pick veggies from the garden for their lunches & I provide homemade meals, nitrate-free lunchmeat... or whatever healthy & different things we can. We have a little dog (Todo/Wizard of Oz type!) and my son often brings his yellow lab over in summer. Read more They're very sweet dogs & are great with kids. Ideally, hours of or between 9am-4pm less than 5 days a week is best for me - overall, I'm pretty flexible. I definitely know how to care for kids - but don't do a whole lot with my computer, ha, so I've asked the 3 yr old's mom to help me with screening new families.
