Growing up, I babysat my nieces and nephews. In high school physical education, I trained and received certification for first aid, CPR, and AED through The American Red Cross. Then I started working at a daycare center as a senior in high school assisting all of the classrooms in the afternoons, and I trained and received certification for first aid and CPR through The American Heart Association. Families from the daycare started to reach out to me to babysit for them. Over the summer and during winter and spring break, I worked as an aide in each classroom. Fall of 2015, I started school at The University of Wisconsin - Stout in the Early Childhood Education program. My freshmen year, I spent time in the daycare on campus with the toddlers. Then when I came home for the summer, I worked as an assistant teacher in infants. This year, my Read more sophomore year, I have been spending time with the preschoolers on campus. I enjoy working with children because they always brighten my mood and day, and they say the funniest and cutest things!
