Come May 2015 I will be graduating from Marquette University Graduate School's College of Education with a Master of Arts from the School Counseling Program. Previously, I have received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Relations from the University of Iowa in 2013. With all my combined schooling from undergraduate and graduate school, I have been trained to work with children and very much enjoy time I spend around kids. I have completed three school counseling internships - one internship at each the elementary, middle school, and high school level. I believe this has helped train me to effectively interact with children of every age. I come from a big family, which means for a majority of my life I have helped care for younger siblings and cousins. I am comfortable caring for all age levels. In my past experience as a summer nanny, I like to make the summer as fun and interesting as I can for the children. This includes playing games and doing different activities, spending a great deal of time outside and away from the television (tv is best in moderation!), and taking the kids out to different events in the community, whether it be a park or museum, etc.
