I am a speech language pathologist that works for Milwaukee Public Schools. My work day ends when the children leave, so I am available in the afternoons starting after 2:40, and I am looking for regular hours for the afternoon into the early evening (7:00 pm). I absolutely love my job, and I find it most rewarding that I am able to work and play with so many different children every day and watch them grow and develop socially and academically. I have worked with children of varying ages, and have experience and professional training in behavior management techniques. I work with children with autism, ADHD, Down's syndome, as well as medically fragile children. My caseload also includes typically developing children with articulation errors, so I am familiar with the academic curriculum and would feel comfortable helping out with homework. I have a reliable car (2013 Hyundai Elanta) and would be willing transport children from school or to any extra curricular activities in my car. I live on the east side of Milwaukee with my dog and cat. My hobbies include running, yoga, reading, and cooking. I enjoy being active and outside as much as the weather permits in Wisconsin! I grew up in a musical household, so I also play several instruments.
