Hi I'm Jamie, I'm 19 years old and I have been around children my whole life. Im the oldest of 5 kids, so I helped my mother out with my younger siblings a lot. I've also had multiple babysitting jobs with my mother from the ages of about 13-16. I loved helping my mom take care of kids its my pride and joy, its what I live for. Children bring a sense off happiness to me that I can't get anywhere else, they brighten up my day, and make me feel like an amazing person. When I was 17 I got my first babysitting job on my own for a neighbor that needed help with her 4 year old daughter and newborn son when she went back to work. I absolutely fell in love with babysitting from there on out, and the connection that I had with not only the Read more children but the family as well. Since then I have babysat for around 6 different families ranging from 1 child at a time, to 4 kids. I love coming up with fun activities to do with children, and just spending quality time with them, and really getting to know them. I aspire to be a 1st grade teacher, and am enrolled to start school in January at mid-state. I love working with children and I hope that my portfolio will catch some of your attentions, and that you will really see that I have a passion for children.
