Hi! I'm Rosie. I'm the mother to two children (ages 2 and 12) who has many years of experience with children--both my own and others. Like many teenagers, I worked as a baby-sitter through middle school and high school and eventually worked as a nanny for three lovely children when I was in college. After graduating from UWM, I moved to China to work as a teacher. What was suppose to be a 5-month stint as a high school ESL instructor turned into a ten year adventure! During my time in China, I primarily worked as a teacher (first high school and later pre-school) and eventually a private tutor to students (ages 4-18). I developed my own lessons and taught students English, while also hosting parties, crafts, and cultural activities with my students. Since returning to the US last year, I've been working as a substitute teacher in Port Washington.
