I am a mom of two girls, now ages 2 and 3. I am looking to care for one or two children in my home on a part-time basis. Ideally, I would like the children I care for to be 3 or older. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last year and a half. My girls and I really enjoy having other children in our home, and I enjoy interacting with children through playing, reading, music and more. Also, I have a younger brother who is 17 years younger than I am - I spent a lot of time with him in his younger years, and babysat during junior high as well. Our home is smoke-free, but we do have a dog - although a 50 pound Lab, she's the most gentle dog I've ever known and is great with the kids - even if they aren't so Read more gentle with her. At the moment, I'm waitressing to make extra money, but with my husband's travel schedule and my girls starting preschool in the fall, I would much rather have more time here with a couple of other kids to enjoy our day with.
