I have always enjoyed teaching children and helping them grow/learn. I have known since I was 10 years old that I wanted to be a teacher, or at least do something related to kids. I worked at the YMCA day care for 3.5 years, including coordinating Summer Camp for the YMCA too! I have worked with infants through children aged 9. I have my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently getting my Bachelor's in ECE as well at Whitewater! I have babysat for my cousin for a whole summer before and babysat neighbor's too. Even though I want to become a teacher, my dream has always been to become a nanny, which is what I am trying to do. :) I have my CPR/First Aid certificate, plus training in SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), SBS (Shaken Baby Syndrome) and Child Abuse/Neglect.
