Hi! My name is Emmy and I’m from right here in Southern Maryland. Growing up, I used to babysit two neighborhood boys from when the youngest was around 4 for a few years on and off. Then, around the time I entered high school, my mother remarried and had two more kids and my sister had two of her own not long after. I took a HUGE roll in raising them and enjoyed every minute of it! I moved out of the house not long after I turned 18, but still maintained an active roll in their care. I was always date night babysitter and whatever else my family needed help with! I took culinary in high school so I've always enjoyed finding healthy and fun recipes to make and even include their help in making for them. Around the time I turned 20, my mother actually approached me with Read more the opportunity to watch all four of them (2 sisters and 2 nieces) full time over the summer, so in the summer of 2016 it was actually my job to take care of 4 girls all under the age of 7! I had so much fun doing activities with them, inside the house and out, and I miss working with children. I have experience with all ages, newborn and up and am willing to watch up to 3 kids at a time! I've lived with dogs, cats, snakes, birds, and small mammals of all shapes and sizes so nothing is too intimidating for me. I have my own reliable vehicle and would be thrilled to discuss the possibilities of different activities I can do in and out of the house with your children. I am also CPR certified. I do work a 9am-5pm job during the week but am available before, after AND any time on the weekends! I can be your before school sitter, after school sitter, date night sitter, whatever you need!
