I have the wonderful pleasure of being an aunt to three boys and two girls, all who I love spending time with. Therefore being an aunt to these crazy kids has gave me plenty of experiences and training in dealing with children. Not only am I an aunt, but over the past several years, my mother was a foster parent. I have seen and helped take care of numerous of kids of all ages and with different personalities. I have also volunteered at King's Daughters Medical Center in their Child Development unit, and helped in the newborn-12 months room during my summers. This past summer, I got the wonderful privilege of getting to be a "Big Buddy" to four silly children at Hospice of Huntington's yearly camp called Camp Good Grief, for children who lost a loved one. I love working with children. I am also a volunteer firefighter in Read more my local community and I am certified in CPR and First Aid.
