My name is Michelle Gonzalez. I am 24 years old and a mother of 3 kids (3 year old boy, 2 year old girl, and 7 month old girl). I am originally from Florida but moved to the Parkersburg area when my husband finished his contract in the United States Army since his family resides here. I have worked with children my whole life. I not only babysat my younger siblings once I turned 14 (since my mother was a single mother who worked all the time) but I also worked at a daycare for 4+ years. I also took 4 years of Early Childhood Education in high school (2006-2010) where we had an in-class preschool of 12 kids aged 3-5 so that we could learn hands-on. We prepared lesson plans, taught the children, took them outside for recess, laid them down for naps, and fed them breakfast, lunch and Read more a snack. I have also babysat for friends on many different occasions, here in the Parkersburg area as well. I am an energetic, full of life, very loving and extremely patient person. I am very dependable and speak both English and Spanish fluently. I love doing many activities, and although I have more experience with younger children (newborn- 5 years old), I do have 2+ years as a teachers assistant in a daycare with our after school program where we helped out with homework and gave the kids (ages 6-16) a snack and watched them until their parents came and picked them up. I am great with math and science (mathematics + biology double major which I put on hold to stay at home with my kids). I am also excellent at literature, reading, grammar and history (although it's my least preferred). In other words, I can also help older kids with their homework. I also love the fur babies and have 2 dogs and a rabbit at home. Give me a chance, you will not regret it.
