I have taken care of children for ten years, ages newborn ten years old for my family and friends. My favorite part of caring for children, is the ability to be a great part of the child’s development. It’s extremely rewarding watching a child grow and progress while in my care. The fact that I am with a child for a significant time during the day, makes me realize I greatly influence them and can impact their lives. It’s a huge responsibility, but an honor and privilege! I had three boys ages seven, five, and two, for 10 months while their parents were engaged in a total rehab program. They were properly cared for, clothed, bathed, fed and kept on a sleep and activity schedule. I am a mother and this line of work gives me the opportunity to be a stay at home mom as well.
