I have always loved babies and children. At a young age, I began babysitting, and I loved babysitting and children so much that I began pursuing a career in the child care field. I worked for 15 plus years in licensed Child Care centers and studied for my Child Development Associate (CDA) which I currently have. I learned best practices for working with infants and young children. I have worked in the Children's Learning Center in Jackson, Wyoming as lead teacher in both the infant and toddler room, and as a Head Start teacher. I love the wonder and newness of the infant and toddler years. I find so much joy in creating a happy and pleasant environment where both children and their parents feel safe spending time. I have a toddler daughter and I am staying at home with her. Currently, I am babysitting another toddler one morning a Read more week, and I am hoping to find another toddler or two who I can babysit part time as well. Preferably two mornings a week. This kind of arrangement may best fit a mom or dad who works from home or who is flexible with their schedule. I am willing to talk with anyone, however, who is interested in child care for their child.
