Our family is looking for afterschool childcare for our two boys, ages 10 and 8 years old. We live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Pick-up boys from 2 different schools on the Upper West Side, Monday-Friday
-Logistical support in transporting boys from school to scheduled afterschool activities
-Accompanying boys on playdates and actively supporting child engagement
-During periods of downtime, actively and creatively engaging with boys and planning activities
HOURS:
M-F regular weekly hours; Monday-Thursday 3:30/4pm-6pm; Friday 2:30-6pm (Optional additional hours)

REQUIREMENTS:
-College degree or currently enrolled; Kind, responsible, engaging and energetic, organized and proactive, strong communication skills with adults and children, patient, motivating, fun
-Ideal, but not required: Athletic (able to play sports with the boys) and Special Ed experience
