Hello Parent(s)! My name is Lea, I am 28 years old, and I am currently in nursing school. While in nursing school I have been working with children throughout my pediatrics rotation, in both hospitals and day care centers. I also come from a large family with over 100 first and second cousins who are all older than me and all have 1-3 children of their own. I have gained child care experience caring for my cousin's kids starting at the age of 21, taking care of their kids ranging from the ages of 1-10 years old. I love children and enjoy spending time with them! I can cook (health and allergy friendly meals) for them, exercise and play with them, engage them with puzzles, art, and games, or follow a schedule that you have planned out for your children. A little info about me: I am half Korean and half White, so I am mixed culturally and can speak basic Korean. I love cooking and am very health conscious if that is a concern (very well acquainted with the gluten free diet), I am also very clean and tidy and will keep your space as clean as possible. I am at a great age to take care of your children because I am full of energy for your children, but old enough to be smart and make safe and thoughtful decisions for your children. I am also in nursing school, so I am very attentive to small details. I am also a friendly, caring, and personable babysitter. I am looking to babysit part-time, I have a very open schedule and can work with last minute plans (date nights, emergencies, etc.) as well as weekly scheduled visits. Last minute plans or date nights may be charged a flat fee. I charge more if I am running errands and driving from location to location because of car wear and tear and gas. I want to be transparent about that so we have no confusion with that. We can agree to a set price per mile of driving, usually about 0.60-0.65 cents per mile based on current gas prices and my calculated vehicle car wear and tear.
