Hello, my name is Mariah! For about 6 years I have worked as a full-time sign artist traveling between Iowa, Kansas City, and California. I worked primarily on chalkboards, menus, signs, handmade decorations, fabrication, woodwork, paintings/murals and advertising for a variety of businesses. I am interested in starting a business. I love reading inspiring books that make you want to live your life to the fullest and develop healthy habits. Some of my favorites include The 4-Hour-Work-Week, Servant Leadership, and The Slight Edge. I have worked as a full-time nanny for a few families over the years and as a special needs personal care attendant for 4 years. I have also babysat for children ages 0-14 over the last 11 years in America and in Japan. I have also tutored kids in English as a second language (4 years old up to high school students). For the past 1 1/2 Read more years I have been living in Japan and traveling around southeast Asia and I absolutely love it (although the summer is too hot and humid haha)! I have a passion for cooking, I especially love cooking for others because food is a great way to make people happy and bring them together. I know some Japanese, Korean, and French (although I am very bad at them! I am currently focused on learning Japanese). I love to travel and meet new people while experiencing different cultures. I have had the pleasure of traveling to South Africa, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Saint Maarten, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain & England. I have also lived and traveled all over the USA. In my free time I enjoy playing piano & guitar, painting, drawing, writing, spending time with friends & family, cooking, traveling, recording/editing videos, reading, exercising and going out exploring.
