Hi! My name is Jacob Burks and I am a junior at the University of Kansas majoring in Business Analytics. I have always enjoyed children and there for a second, thought about pursuing a career in the field. I have experience babysitting not only my family members but those of friends. In high school, I worked at a Christian summer camp facilitating activities for children, many of which required establishing a personal connection to help them conquer their fears. I am comfortable babysitting up to 3 children, as long as they are over a year old. I previously held a Red Cross Lifeguard certification which included CPR; I would be happy to have this certification renewed and obtain the appropriate childcare certification as well.
