Have "professionally" watched over a 2-year-old child for a military family back in high school. Many of my friends and coworkers have children that I have watched for date nights, over weekends and while they were on vacation, including my younger family members and siblings. I took a babysitting course with The Red Cross and am certified by them to babysit. I've been trained in CPR and know all the emergency and first aid procedures for taking care of children. In addition to these things, I am pursuing a degree in Child and Family Studies at LSU which helps me understand children and their behaviors as well as ways to care for them.
