Hi! My name is Sophie and I am a junior at Harvard concentrating in Applied Math. I am a very enthusiastic and energetic person who has always loved kids! Both of my parents are both heads of schools so I have learned a lot about children (and subsequently philosophy about early childhood development/education) from the sidelines over the years. I took a gap year before attending college during the COVID virtual year, during which time, amongst other things, I worked as a substitute/proctor at an all boys school as well as nannied a 3 month old. Most recently, I worked at that same all boys school as an interim 3rd grade assistant teacher for the last month of the school year this past spring. I took both French and Latin through high school (and continued French here in college) and as my major might suggest, I actually really enjoy math. All of this is to say that I am a very easy going person who loves to have fun, but also pays close attention to safety at all times and is very focused at getting tasks done!
