Hello, and thank you for checking me out! I am a certificated teacher and soon-to-be school counselor who cares deeply about the holistic growth and maturity of children. I understand that feelings of physical and emotional security are crucial to all stages of development. For this reason, I am both firm and warm, structured and fun. I believe that children need social interaction and the ability to explore the world around them if they are to become well-adjusted, full-functioning members of society. I want to kids to have real experiences, authentic learning opportunities, and developmentally appropriate challenges more than screens and entertainment. My wide range of job experiences include babysitting for neighbors, camp counseling, teaching K-12 students, administrative assistance, technical maintenance, and experience at a non-profit for special needs adults.
