I am a nurturing, loving twenty year old who enjoys working with children. During high school I took a early childhood development class and fell in love with working in a preschool. I became a mandated reporter and milestone documenter. After completing a year of that class I went on and got my CNA, I did a lot of clinicals inside and outside the classroom setting. I started babysitting my younger brother and sister as soon as my mom let me stay home alone (I was an only child for 9 years). After that took off, I started babysitting my sisters friends. Everyone seemed to love it when I would babysit, I enjoy cleaning up after messes are made, but also trying to teach the importance of picking up after yourself. Growing up my mom ran her own daycare. I used to love coming home and helping out with the Read more children she cared for. My family has always called me a 'mother hen' babies always seem to steal my heart. After caring for two family friends children with Cystic Fibrosis I knew then my future goal and dream job is to become a child life specialist, currently I am putting school to the side as I try to gain experiences in other fields. I am working as a human resources assistant, but am getting done in two weeks. The past two summers I have worked as a personal assistant for the Alfond family in Belgrade Lakes. I would do their grocery shopping, prepare for their dinner parties and anything else that they needed. My favorite thing about working for such a great family is becoming 'apart' of the family. Nannying has always been something I wanted to do, I love being helpful and caring for children as well as the elderly. Many would describe me as a kind hearted, nurturing individual. I have such a big heart and would do anything for the ones I care about.
