I started out taking care of kids when I was young, being an older sister and the eldest of the multitude of cousins I was always helping out with the younger kids. When I turned 12 I decided I wanted to take a 4H class on babysitting so for about a year I was taking classes, researching, and doing projects on the subject. I started watching family's kids around in Potomac and sometimes in Missoula. I also helped my middle school with their friday program when the school in Potomac switched to a four day week and would help organize and manage projects and activites with the younger kids. I continued to volunteer there throughout high school.
