I am a college student looking for a job that fits my class schedule and also anytime in the summer. I love kids and am completely comfortable with pets and doing housework. I have worked in a preschool and have been babysitting for 6+ years. I had the opportunity to work for Jumpstart, through Americorps, to teach children in disadvantaged communities reading and writing skills. Seeing these children grow confidence in themselves as they learned was a privilege. Watching their faces light up when they are able to even just write the first letter of their own names was an experience that was beyond rewarding. I am now a tutor at my college and I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. I have a lot of experience in the retail setting and am hoping to find a job working with kids, as that is more geared to my Read more future career plans. My availability is M-Thurs after class starting at 2 p.m. Available all day Fri-Sun. My availability will be completely open from mid-June to mid-August.
