I have been a high school teacher for about 9 years. But during the summers I have been a babysitter or nanny multiple times. The most recent job was in Denver (where my parents were living at the time) where I took care of a 20-month-old little boy. We went to the park, almost daily, went to the zoo, and went to the library to participate in their pre-reading activities for toddlers and to check out books. One time we went to the aquarium, and we went to the children's museum with my 2-year-old niece. I was the oldest of 7 children and have experience cleaning, cooking, and taking care of little ones, including school-aged children. I have taken care of friends' children for short-term babysitting when parents had to work over night, or go out of town for a conference now and then.
