I have a great deal of experience caring for children in my community and family. I volunteer throughout the school year to Mothers of Preschoolers, an organization set up in local churches where volunteers of the community babysit children of the congregation, so the parents can have some personal time throughout their hectic week. I have been an active volunteer for two years and have acquired experience babysitting children from 6 months to six years of age. I have also babysat family members and neighbors who range in age of 5-9. The most rewarding aspect to being a care provider is to see the amount of development an individual has made over time. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I am pursuing my degree in Speech-Language Pathology, so have a extensive knowledge in language acquisition.
