I have been babysitting since a very young age having two much younger sisters to grow up with and recently a baby cousin to take care of as well. Outside of family, I have been teaching dance to young children since the age of twelve and went through the Dance Educator Training Course through the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and graduated at the age of seventeen. I've also babysat lots of kids I met through teaching dance during my high school years. A child I babysat was severely autistic so I also have experience with children with special needs so that is not a problem for me. I started my college education at the University of New Hampshire studying child development and deaf studies. In the future I hope to work with deaf kids either as a teacher in an all deaf school or as a translator for a Read more deaf child in a hearing school. While attending UNH I worked in a church as a Nursery Supervisor part time, taking care of kids ages newborn to 3 years old during church services. I currently help at a dance studio that my younger sisters attend here in Portsmouth and I love working with the kids every chance I get. My availability schedule is very vague right now since I have another part time job, but that can easily be adjusted for babysitting opportunities.
