Hello! I'm a rising third year student at Clemson University, where I study Environmental Engineering and Nonprofit Leadership. I grew up with three sisters and a brother, and I am the second oldest! I have experience with children with special needs, as my youngest sister has Down Syndrome. I love getting to know new families and helping out parents in any way that I can! In high school I would babysit, petsit, and housesit for families I knew from church, school, and athletics I was involved in. I'm a huge proponent for community engagement, and would love to see children that I take care of learn something new every time we are together! I'm from Charleston, SC, and typically would take children to the county park during summers of childcare, where they could get on the water slides or swing in the park! I also enjoy taking kids I'm babysitting Read more to the library for story time and to pick out new books to read. Healthy snacks are a must and we will always help the parents out by cleaning up our toys and putting our laundry in the wash before they come home. I have been through CPR and first-aid training, and also have experience with caretaking for elderly couples! Can handle flexible schedules, routines like practices or school pick-up, and am willing to work with the various needs of parents and families.
