I am currently a student at BYU-Idaho studying Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and a minor in History. I have four younger siblings, so I've spent practically my entire life taking care of younger children. Many of my younger siblings have severe health problems that have taught me many useful skills when it comes to child care, and one of my siblings was diagnosed with autism. I've also worked as a respite caregiver for a young boy with autism and behavioral disorders. I worked with this boy, his parents, and his six younger siblings as a respite caregiver for two summers, but I had been babysitting for their family for years beforehand.
